Heron
It was one of those rare afternoons that this heron posed fishing among the cone flowers by the side of the lake. I got a reflection of the clouds and that nice beam of sunlight shining on the feathers. I was just in the right place at the right moment.


Rare and lucky moments often make the best shots.

I think this is one of my favourite shots of yours, Victor. What an elegant bird – and the picture is made even moreso by the purple flowers and the reflection of the clouds in the water. It’s very peaceful. Thanks for sharing it.
