This year was awful for fall colors. I was always in the wrong place. The leaves really were just yellow. There was not much brilliant orange or red. But a few years ago, I had a magical fall in Maine. The leaves were wonderful for several weeks and I took full advantage. This is for my cousin Wendy who told me she had expected more color when I posted Bear Mountain.
