Jessop’s
I don’t Facebook. So, here’s a shout out to Jessop’s Tavern. They are in an ancient building in New Castle. They serve a ‘colonial’ style fare. We’ve been there because the fare is good and prices fair. It’s also a far drive. Thank goodness or, we’d be there more often. I love bread bowls. Lamb stew in a bread bowl with a sprig of thyme….mmmm. Dessert was an Irish car bomb – not entirely PC, but good and covered in green icing. I don’t know why. We just like the place. Yup!
