Focus in a deep hole. It ain’t easy. The camera wants to focus on something else. It’s hard. I took more than 15 images to get/pick one. At least I got one. I wanted the stamen deep inside the flower. Most cameras will focus on the closest subject. Depth of field will save you but not always. I know this. Click away, check, and finally hope you got what you wanted. It’s a challenge. I may use a point and shoot but I don’t always assume it’s gonna do what I want. When I shot film, I simply missed the shot. Nowadays I get the shot more often but it’s not a surefire deal either. You are so lucky not to have to deal with film constraints.
