We were in the Grand Canyon on the last cross country trip to visit CA and to see Noa. It was an age ago. Does motherhood make your own birthday seem lesser? Jules would celebrate with a party at the end of the school year, with her friends in the middle of the summer, once more at the Tyler Place, and once again with family at another party. At that rate she was forty before she was ten. No matter, she never complained. And, here we are again! Happy birthday.
