Doo

Neverending: short or long? Color? I persuaded Colleen that she is too young looking to go grey. But length? Short is so much easier to wash and dry. Her hairdresser does not mind change or experimentation. I get photo ops. I try to shoot every day. Cats only get you so far ….
Too little time

Too many stories. We are lucky. A picture can tell a thousand words. I prefer to be succinct. Pictures!
Colleen says I look at people (women) too much. Things have changed. How do you come to work? Really!? Mom always said wear clean underwear. If you come to the trauma ER, they cut your clothes off you. I’ve seen some pretty fancy underwear (shredded). Just wondering…. Another sunrise? I am so fortunate to see another. It’s a gift. The Turkish plate? It’s totally out of character and out of sync to everything else in the house. It fits right in. Nope, we are not in need of a bed pan. I don’t see an old “set” every day. Likely, I will not again. Everything is disposable now. Yes, the times are changing. I used to go to work in suit and tie. In my last job, I simply lived in scrubs for four straight years. A tie and jacket came out of the closet only a handful of days.
Black whisker
I noticed a while ago that Tillie has jet black whiskers. Why not? She’s a black cat. But, the light reflects from the whiskers and they appear white most times. I have dutifully tried to capture a picture showing the black whisker. It appears I may have been successful. For comparison, Willow is pure white with white whiskers. Do you care? The challenge was to take a photo true to life of those black whiskers. Convinced? I may yet get a better shot. It’s a work in progress.
Depending on how the light reflects, it could be black or light. It is black. The trick is in capturing the image.
Party
For some reason there were more people with odd costumes or hair at the sheep festival. Party! Party color! When did I become conservative? But, you dress like this and you beg me to look and notice you. Maybe I don’t get out enough these days.
Hairy cats
Mine are long haired and presumably Maine coon. Spice on the left is full of tangles. She’s not good at grooming. I have to cut away the tangles periodically. She hates me for it. Feather got an allergy. We don’t know the source. She gradually lost all the hair on her belly. The vet gave us steroids. They work. I don’t want her steroid dependent. Ha! But I gave up and started on the drugs again. Her belly looks so much better now. I’ll let Feather heal up and then we’ll see whether we continue. I suppose I shouldn’t treat my own cat. But, hey! It was $80 for the first visit to tell me we don’t know what and it’s an unknown allergen. The pills were less than $10 when I wrote the prescription. Does it qualify as treating your own family?
Too Much
So, after the sugar rush of Xmas, it was time to go for a haircut. Some days you wake up with bad hair. Mine is okay now. Yay! No more Xmas till next year. The tree is very dry…. I would have to say this was a good one (holiday with family and friends).
