Lie, cheat, pardon… repeat. People are scrambling to buy pardons for money from POTUS. FOLLOW THE MONEY $$. They will and you will go to jail. It’s pretty stupid to advertise your crimes. Stupids still believe the Capitol invasion didn’t happen. They deny. The rest of us and the WORLD saw it. We can dial it up and replay criminal insurrection you (trump) committed. And the arrested stupids who posted and identified themselves are going to jail. Did you pardon them too? Oh!…no?…. they didn’t give you money?

Cheat, lie, pardon… repeat. Now we are blatantly announcing pardons are for sale. FOLLOW THE MONEY $$! We just can’t seem to get over the criminal mob (Mafia) behavior of asshole in chief. I am not constrained from calling trump out with disdain. He’s gone very very soon. I sincerely hope justice will follow him and he will soon be incarcerated. There is no other way to account for the criminal activity this past president has thought he could get away with. The madness ends. All you did will be fixed and you will indeed be locked up. And, I think they will follow the money because you are too arrogant, no, too stupid, to cover the trail.

“Mr. Trump is set to depart office on Wednesday with an approval rating of 29 percent, the lowest of his presidency, according to a new poll from the Pew Research Center.

About 75 percent of the public said Mr. Trump bore some responsibility for the violence and destruction of Jan. 6, which put the lives of the vice president and members of Congress at risk and resulted in five deaths, according to the survey.”

Baked Alaska?! They arrested someone named Baked Alaska in connection with the riots. Of course, they did.

25% of people in the poll said it was ok to storm the Capitol and wreak havoc, destruction, and murder. 29% of whatever number they are using is a lot of millions of people who are with trump and his hatred and lies. That is a lot of millions. There are a finite number of Republicans in the Congress who support trump. That number is near complete support among the Republican numbers. After 2016 and 2020, I think that polls are misleading. They lied to me and misled me into believing the streets are paved with gold and moon is made of cheese. Fool me once…. Not in my wildest hope is 25% or 29% a number to take to heart. That’s a whole lot of people who aren’t getting it. There simply is no scenario in which it is ok to carry the Confederate flag into the Capitol of the United States. None. Zero. 0% In truth of fact, there are millions who say it’s ok.

Get out!

So much to say so little time. Turned (you) out! Get out of our house! Here’s three voters who helped vote you and your fat ass out. Backwards, you got it all backward. You did not win. And this time around we were paying attention and were ready. No amount of cheating or your version of an alternate reality can make it anything less. And there is an excellent chance you will be indicted and convicted and be LOCKED UP! Delicious!? It’s another day, the collective nightmare will end and ‘barr(s)’ will have a new meaning in your pathetic life. Oh, did I say? I did not vote for you either. Today is the eve of “eviction.” This is a real post not a wish or fantasy. Do you know/can you guess – how much we will miss you?

“Can I fly with my AR 15?

If you want to fly with an AR 15, or really any rifle, you’ll need a rifle case. You can fly with a gun, it’s completely legal. … You’ll need to have all firearm components locked in your checked baggage, too. This includes magazines, bolts, ammunition, stocks, basically everything.Aug 28, 2017

Yes, you can take your favorite gun along for a plane ride. But you must know that you need more than a nice hard-sided case with lock for any firearms. They cannot be loaded and ammo must be properly packaged in the same container as the firearm.Dec 9, 2018″

Airlines are reporting more weapons are being brought through commercial airlines into the Washington DC area ahead of the inauguration next week.

That’s pretty chilling!

And foreign governments are doing their bit to help destabilize the US government too. That would include China and Russia among the players implicated.

Washington DC has a “Green Zone” now. 20, 000 troops are deployed to protect our capital against terrorist incursion by Americans. Americans? Something is deeply broken. Lies are truth to many. There is fake news that has made its way to the core of our population. The seeds of distrust extend in all directions. The effectiveness of trump’s lies is bewildering. Magic. It’s magic.

“What does magic mean?1a : the use of means (such as charms or spells) believed to have supernatural power over natural forces. b : magic rites or incantations. 2a : an extraordinary power or influence seemingly from a supernatural source.”

Qanon has got to love the “supernatural” part of the definition. trump has accomplished this through a continuous litany of repeated lies.

‘the truth will set you free’ (John 8:32)

Last week I did not know who you are. This week you are known to be an extremist who craves attention. Shame! You carry a gun into the chamber of the Congress as your right to declare you are stupid. You refuse to follow rules and to not go through the metal detector because you are special and have the right to threaten other Congressmen. You tweeted locations for Congressmen during the riot inside the Capitol. You aided and abetted the rioters. Perhaps we should add traitor to your title as well. You have been noticed. Loud, stupid, carries a gun. The right to bear arms does not include the right to threaten. We are a long way from the wild west days past.

When my kids were little, they would cover their eyes and no one could see them. Duh! Right! Cover your eyes!. In order to communicate to thousands, maybe millions, you need to be able to have access to the site. Can anyone join up? I’m not “law enforcement” scout’s honor! Encrypted or not, how do I read your drivel once I am granted access? Oh, you will be invisible? Got it. You covered your eyes?! They have contests for hackers to outdo one another. It only takes “About 3,600,000 results (0.59 seconds) ” a half second to find several million hits on hackers. Yeah! Some real bright bulbs are out there. Ok, ok, it took a bit longer and a full length movie to find Bin Laden. But, I daresay, someone’s out there listening as we speak. Go ahead, you wanna do what? where?

QAnon is the umbrella term for a sprawling set of internet conspiracy theories that allege, falsely, that the world is run by a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles who are plotting against Mr. Trump while operating a global child sex-trafficking ring.

QAnon followers believe that this clique includes top Democrats including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and George Soros, as well as a number of entertainers and Hollywood celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres and religious figures including Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama. Many of them also believe that, in addition to molesting children, members of this group kill and eat their victims in order to extract a life-extending chemical from their blood. – https://www.nytimes.com/article/what-is-qanon.html

QAnon[a] (/ˌkjuːəˈnɒn/) is a disproven and discredited far-rightconspiracy theory[2] alleging that a cabal of Satan-worshippingcannibalistic[3][4][5]pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring and plotting against U.S. president Donald Trump, who is fighting the cabal.[6] QAnon also commonly asserts that Trump is planning a day of reckoning known as the “Storm”, when thousands of members of the cabal will be arrested.[7][8] The conspiracy claim is entirely fictitious.[9][10][11][12]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QAnon

REALLY?! I mean REALLY?! The woman in red is an elected member of Congress. Nut! Nuts!! She is most definitely the face of Qanon just as the Viking hat nut job is as well. … and the man dressed in a big “Q.” Two of three are recognized as nuts from quite a distance away. Greene (in the red jacket) is sinister. She is the ideological evil step mother portrayed so vividly in fairy tales. She is the public face of evil in Congress. She is not alone. Too numerous to mention – cruz hawley jordan gaetz and many others I have not singled out are all part of this crew. Do not allow these extremists to prevail. Congressmen did not vote for impeachment because they feared harm to themselves or their own families because their very vote for impeachment would endanger them all. Sheep. Mice. They behaved shamefully caving to the mob and its threats. America must now face the challenge of Qanon an extremist group that has no place. Qanon is not entitled to confuse freedom of speech with hate speech and lies. And yes, this is all worth repeating. Qanon is not America. But if we fail to treat this infection it will take over the body and kill us all.

There are consequences to the acts you do. Qanon, (I’d never heard of them), but they are on the rise. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia was profiled as the new face of the group. Remember her and her brethren. Their view in the name of free speech is to quash the very right we have to disagree.

“The conspiracy-theory group known as QAnon has grown in popularity in recent months. It has spread from fringe internet message boards to mainstream platforms and has become a political issue, and on Jan. 6, its adherents were among the most prominent members of the mob of President Trump’s supporters who stormed the U.S. Capitol in Washington. Here is what we know about QAnon, the conspiracy theory behind it and how it started.

What is QAnon?

QAnon is a far right-wing, loosely organized network and community of believers who embrace a range of unsubstantiated beliefs. These views center on the idea that a cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles—mainly consisting of what they see as elitist Democrats, politicians, journalists, entertainment moguls and other institutional figures—have long controlled much of the so-called deep state government, which they say seeks to undermine President Trump, mostly with aid of media and entertainment outlets.”

This nutjob – Taylor Greene – is an elected member of Congress. Satanic worshipping pedophiles? Who let the nuts out of the “funny farm?” Because they have supporters who believe their lies does not make Qanon moral, righteous, or factual. My only Republican friend (name withheld to protect the innocent) contends there was something wrong with the election and that dead people voted. How many? Where? What states? Dunno, but, there’s something fishy! Without any proof, the “feeling” does not hold. Proof! We need proof.

But then, the existence of God is circular reasoning as well. God exists because he does. Proof is not necessary as 2 billion will attest.

Christianity2.168 billion31.4%
Islam1.599 billion23.2%
Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist1.193 billion15.6%
Hinduism1.161 billion15.2%

The other fact attests that the majority of the world does not share your belief. We live in a world where we by and large tolerate one another and the beliefs they hold. There is always, somewhere, conflict and tension between factions.

Religious freedom and separation of church and state are bedrock founding principles of this country. I would like our country to continue. Peaceful disagreement is fine. Facts matter. I have often wondered at the conflict between religion and evolution. The big bang theory coexists with the earth formed in seven days. Are all astronomers, satanic worshipers? The illogical assumption is that Qanon will always believe in unproven falsehoods. Right? Yes, I mean this (right) to be ambiguous.

Qanon may someday be synonymous with:

The Taliban is a brutal, fundamentalist religious group that held power over most of Afghanistan during the late 1990s. The word Taliban comes from tālib, “student” in Arabic, as the group was started by Pakistani religious school students in the mid-1990s.

Al-Qaeda, Arabic al-Qāʿidah (“the Base”), broad-based militant Islamist organization founded by Osama bin Laden in the late 1980s.

History may repeat and Nazi Germany will rise again. Or, we may rise in peace and regain our democracy and the right to peacefully disagree. Do not let the few who shout and foment insurrection succeed.

You do the crime, you pay! We know now how the country is broken along team lines. But there was a crime and you are now charged. Historical! No, sad. We let a madman run the White House and sleep with the nuclear football. We will be lucky to survive the next week. They were un-American. The Republic was secondary to position and power and team. Insurrection in the Capitol one week ago, and, there were deniers who chose team over country. Congressional members actively assisted the mob invasion of the Capitol too. These facts are just coming out. There is so much more to be absorbed. trump can lie, cheat, steal and make up alternate reality. But his ass is impeached. There is nothing fake about that. It’s fact. You been f’d dude. You do the crime, you do the time.

It’s no game

“What does “I’m rubber you’re glue” mean? It’s a response to an insult, usually only used by children. It means the insult said by the first child doesn’t apply to the person being insulted, but the person who said it in the first place. You look ugly. I’m rubber youre glue.”

There are lies and alternative realities that have been pursued for personal gain – trump, Cruz, Hawley. If this were a child’s playground, this would be vaguely amusing. In the Senate of the United States and by POTUS, this is dangerous and unacceptable. The rhetoric has reached the point where I fear the “nuclear button” is an option in a reality game. There is no justification. Democrats – no, Americans – should be running “hair on fire” to stop these madmen. trump, hawley and cruz have met the definitions:

trai·tor/ˈtrādər/ Learn to pronounce nounnoun: traitor; plural noun: traitors

  1. a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc.

trea·son/ˈtrēzən/ Learn to pronounce nounnoun: treason; noun: high treason; plural noun: high treasons

  1. the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.

We cannot end the rebellion. But we can cut off its head. It will be a start. The rabble can go somewhere and start another country. But there seems to be nowhere they will be welcome. And there are those who would “take the law into their own hands.” That’s not how it works in a democracy. We waited four years for this vote. It’s your turn to wait.

“Last minute changes (tot he Article of Impeachment) were made late Sunday to include a reference to the 14th Amendment, the post-Civil War era addition to the Constitution that prohibits anyone who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the United States from holding future office. Lawmakers also decided to cite specific language from Mr. Trump’s speech last Wednesday, inciting the crowd, quoting him saying: “If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

No one, certainly not me, could have imagined the trump era would end in more reality show drama. Nightmare, a national nightmare, his own words tell everyone what they must do. Sometimes you must fight for democracy. Many have considered leaving the country. Are we to be Nazi Germany redux? We face many difficult decisions in the coming days and months. This is not over. We will not be able to defer. We will have to settle the argument on freedom of speech and what are the limits of news reporting and the boundary of propaganda and lies.

“How did Justice Potter define obscenity?”Obscene” speech is “unprotected” speech as ruled by the Supreme Court. … In 1964, Justice Potter Stewart tried to explain “hard-core” pornography, or what is obscene, by saying, “I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced… [b]ut I know it when I see it …””

Either way, we can no longer be on the sidelines. The country will not survive by letting the weight of government carry itself along. If we want democracy, we will have to work to keep it. Armed extremism is a threat to:

“”Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence. The phrase gives three examples of the unalienable rights which the Declaration says have been given to all humans by their creator, and which governments are created to protect.””

I cite Al quaeda and the Taliban as recent examples of an armed minority subverting the will of a peaceful majority. Take heed the warning. The enemy has stormed the gates of our Capitol. It feels radical to write this, but truth is in the images we saw last week.

In another time, I recited the pledge of allegiance to the United States of America every day in elementary school followed by a recitation of the Lord’s prayer. The Confederate flag and trump flag are symbols of domestic anti-American terrorism. The KKK and American Nazi party exist because of the First Amendment. The will of the majority does not allow them to break laws. We tread a very fine line between liberty and terrorism.

“What is the basic meaning of democracy?

1a : government by the people especially : rule of the majority. b : a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.”

If your allegiance lies elsewhere than to the “red white and blue”, then you are un-American. Love it or leave it. Don’t wave any other flag and tell me you love this country. Your actions tell us all we need to know.

Six Senators and one hundred twenty one Congressmen. There are lists in multiple publications lest anyone forget them. They voted to disenfranchise millions of American voters. They voted for anarchy. They voted for a coup. They voted against the will of the American people. They stood with trump and the Confederate flag. They are sheep who followed conspiracy theories and lies trump promulgated, falsehoods that undermined democracy. SHAME! We will forget you but when you next show up, someone will recall your vote. It will follow you and we will recall this class photo.

Taliban, Al qaeda

It’s like the plot of a B movie. All the cops were told to “stand down, stand-by.” Terrorists take over the Capitol. Then Arnold Schwarzenegger sweeps in guns blazing to kill the bad guys at the end. Afghanistan, Iraq? Terrorists imposed their will upon the people. The will of the people was subverted. The acts of terrorism were plain and simple. This is not freedom of speech. This is not the right to peacefully protest. This is breach of speech and against everything America stands up for. We fight and fought the longest war in our history to defend freedom and democracy. There is no excuse for terrorism – domestic or otherwise. The phrase – “to defend the Constitution from all enemies – foreign or domestic” never dripped so heavily with meaning. The sarcasm is thick upon the lips of those who will bend the will of the people. It is terrorism pure and simple. The threat of mob violence will not be met with a cowed population. Those who say, “Turn down the rhetoric, lower the temperature.” are correct. But do not mistake peace for resolve. If you commit a crime, you will be found. Freedom of speech ends where you trample the rights of freedom in this country.

I have been to DC. I have seen what a pissed off electorate looks like. We waited four years for our turn to vote again. Four years, trump lied and cheated and got impeached and nearly ruined America. We waited….

Freedom to assemble and free speech is not freedom to riot and invade the Capitol. A bedrock principle of democracy is to disagree – peacefully! If you disagree – vote! – and if you lose, your turn will come if the will of the people agrees. trump LOST! And then he tried to bend the will of the minority to cling to power. Sore loser? No, pitiful!

infamous… only minutes to cave

After Congress rejected his false claims, he caved immediately. He – trump – threw his supporters under the bus. hawley asked for campaign money even as the riots occurred. Weak and ultimately impotent, trump only weakened American democracy. trump’s infamy has already been compared to Pearl Harbor and 9/11. That’s a legacy he can take to the (Russian) bank.

“Congress certified the election of Joseph R. Biden Jr. early Thursday, hours after a mob of loyalists urged on by President Trump stormed and occupied the Capitol, disrupting the final electoral count in a shocking display of violence that shook the core of American democracy.

Mr. Trump, who spent months stoking the anger of his supporters with false claims that the election was stolen and refused to condemn the violent protests on Wednesday, said early Thursday that he would respect the results.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” he said in a statement.

The statement, which had to be issued through surrogates since Mr. Trump’s Twitter account was suspended, came moments after Vice President Mike Pence affirmed Mr. Biden as the winner of the presidential election shortly before 4 a.m. after the final electoral votes were tallied in a joint session of Congress.”

WIMP! he – trump – caved immediately! LOSER! It ain’t over. Legions of trump supporters are still enthralled.

thrall/THrôl/ Learn to pronounce nounliterarynoun: thrall

  1. the state of being in someone’s power or having great power over someone.

Too stupid to comprehend – millions voted for him. And, they believed his lies and conspiracy theories enough to storm the Capitol. My disbelief is that they still do believe that asshole (trump) was robbed. Even Sarah Palin weighed in. She was not the brightest politician of another era….

“To any insincere, fake DC ‘patriots’ used as PLANTS — you will be found out,” wrote Sarah Palin, the Republican Party’s vice-presidential nominee in 2008, who demanded that the media look into the identities of the people who smashed their way into the Capitol.

Man in the middle

They (Congress) politely avoided calling out hawley by name. he is trump’s surrogate. Remember his name! He’s running for president. his unconcealed ambition helped stoke the riot and violation inside the Capitol building. No amount of spin can change that fact. And he doubled down and continued with his conspiracy theory much like another ally cruz did to hold up the senate’s will many years ago. these men with abominable ambition should be roundly penalized for their tacit enabling of insurrection. Confederate flags and trump flags were carried into and flew in the chambers of Congress.

“The House rejected the challenge by a vote of 282 to 138, after a long debate dragged past 3 a.m. in Washington. A scuffle almost broke out on the chamber floor after Representative Conor Lamb, Democrat of Pennsylvania, delivered a particularly fiery speech in condemnation of the Republican objections.

“That attack today, it didn’t materialize out of nowhere,” Mr. Lamb said. “It was inspired by lies, the same lies you’re hearing in this room tonight, and the members who are repeating those lies should be ashamed of themselves.”

By a vote of 92 to 7, the Senate turned back the challenge shortly before 1 a.m., as the number of objections to the counting of Electoral College votes dwindled after the mob’s brazen effort to keep President Trump in office, despite his decisive election loss in November.

Those voting against the results of the American election in Pennsylvania were: Senators Josh Hawley of Missouri, Ted Cruz of Texas, Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi, Roger Marshall of Kansas, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming and Rick Scott of Florida.” (REMEMBER THESE NAMES!!!!)

“We gather due to a selfish man’s injured pride, and the outrage of supporters who he has deliberately misinformed for the past two months and stirred to action this very morning,” Senator Mitt Romney, Republican of Utah and the 2012 presidential nominee, said after the chamber reconvened. “What happened here today was an insurrection incited by the president of the United States.”

TREASON: the Confederate flag and the trump flag. Nothing less than rebellion occurred. And there is no justification for the act of desecration in our nation’s Capitol. Lawmakers were equally careful to condemn the acts and to not call them patriots but to call them out as rioters, a mob, insurrectionist, who committed sedition.

Sedition is a serious felony punishable by fines and up to 20 years in prison and it refers to the act of inciting revolt or violence against a lawful authority with the goal of destroying or overthrowing it.Feb 20, 2019

trump, the grasping pitiful pathetic liar, in one of his last acts committed sedition and treason. No one has called him out. LOCK HIM UP! You would put down a rabid dog. He has likewise infected millions with his false conspiracy theories and lies. PUT HIM DOWN!

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE; it’s a sad start after someone awoke. Political move? You bet! They – Facebook and Twitter – are fighting federal regulation.

Outside our doors

This does not happen in a democracy. An election is held. There is a winner and a loser. We have all lost today as our current emperor has instigated mayhem, mischief, and irreparable damage to our democracy, constitution, and freedom as Americans.

trea·son/ˈtrēzən/ Learn to pronounce nounnoun: treason; noun: high treason; plural noun: high treasons

trump has committed treason. When do we say, “Enough is enough?” Capital punishment. We are beyond “lock him up.” I have lived under presidents I did not like. Voting does not always give you what you want. But we have been a democracy until now.

de·moc·ra·cy/dəˈmäkrəsē/ Learn to pronounce nounnoun: democracy

  1. a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and …

WE are beyond impeachment now. The act of denying the majority- > 7 million voters turned trump out – is simple treason. We do not need to prosecute the civil war once again. I believe in this democracy. Let justice prevail. Let the guilty be punished. LOCK HIM UP! would be a start but not the endpoint. Reality TV has no part in running our country.

On this propitious day – is it? – I post for you this sign. We pass it on the way to the veterinary appointment. We live in a trump county – a trump county, not country. The crazies will have to go back into the woodwork. Alas, they are with us and ever shall be. There is no more room to be coy. Tell them they are not welcome whenever they come out to the light of day. They will not be gone in my lifetime but they are most unwelcome. Unfortunately, this is harder done than said. Sadly, I have some trump friends… fewer but still…

too stupid to impeach again?

“Carl Bernstein, the reporter who broke the Watergate scandal back in the ’70s, said what Trump said on this tape was, quote, ‘far worse than Watergate.’ But I guess Trump figures, ‘I’ve only got two weeks left — what the hell?’” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“It doesn’t mean much to Trump. He thinks Watergate is about toilets not flushing hard enough.” — JIMMY FALLON

“That’s right, The Washington Post published an audio recording of President Trump asking the Georgia secretary of state to find enough votes to overturn his loss in the state. Wow, things have gotten a lot easier for The Post since they broke Watergate — now Deep Throat is just Trump himself.” — SETH MEYERS

“Apparently every January, Trump’s New Year’s resolution is to find a new way to get impeached.” — JIMMY FALLON

“He tried everything. He bragged, he challenged, he threatened. He told the secretary of state he would come to Georgia and eat all their peaches — nothing.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“Now, now, buckle up everybody, because this call is like if Watergate and the Ukraine scandal had a baby that they made on the ‘Access Hollywood’ bus,” Stephen Colbert said. “When you’re a star, they let you do it.”

“But behind the scenes, a longtime conservative lawyer named Cleta Mitchell quietly helped. Her work for Mr. Trump drew widespread attention for the first time over the weekend, when a recording was released of an hourlong call in which Mr. Trump threatened Georgia elections officials with “a criminal offense” if they failed to “find” enough votes to change the state’s presidential results.

On the call, Ms. Mitchell repeatedly jumped in to help Mr. Trump, showing an intimate level of involvement in his efforts as they made baseless claims about the election and pressed Georgia officials to hand over election data.

Ms. Mitchell is a partner at the law firm Foley & Lardner, which has over 1,000 lawyers and an office in nearly every major city in the United States and represents large corporations such as CVS Pharmacy. Her presence on the call stood out because Mr. Trump has struggled to attract high-profile lawyers to aid his attempts to overturn the election, instead relying on a group that has included Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who has pushed outlandish claims in defense of Mr. Trump throughout his presidency, and Sidney Powell, who has espoused conspiracy theories.

Ms. Mitchell has been advising the president for weeks, according to a person familiar with the matter.

In the day after the audio emerged, Foley & Lardner sought to distance itself from Ms. Mitchell, saying in a statement on Monday that its lawyers were expected to refrain from representing or advising anyone in the election. The firm said it was examining Ms. Mitchell’s role on Mr. Trump’s legal team.” –

Take heart. The show’s nearly over. 5 million more voters elected to cancel your sorry presidency way back in November. Last one out turn off the lights. Kill the spotlight, this show’s a wrap.

Common sense… idiocy

I recall my mother (any/or all mothers) saying, “If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you follow them?” Or, the story from the movie “Jaws” in which Robert Shaw says, “We were being rescued a few at a time. I was so close between being rescued or eaten by a shark. I’ll never wear a life jacket again.” Hey?

Mix and match? NO! That would be a trumpian move as we await our turn in line. Oh?! Republican? You didn’t see how to influence/buy your way to cut the line? Don’t do it! Don’t cut and do not ever mix your vaccines. Off label use (going against manufacturers recommendation) might work and might not. It’s a risk, stupid, not a smart one. Don’t do it. Jumping from the bridge is sure to result in some harm. Mixing metaphors might not hurt but mixing vaccines is stupid, Stupid. I join in admonishing against utter stupid.

Bitch slapped

NY Post editorial as follows: “Give it up, Mr. President — for your sake and the nation’s.”

In a blunt editorial, Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post, a tabloid that promoted Donald J. Trump long before he went into politics, told the president to end his attempts to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election.

The Monday front page showed a downcast president and the all-caps headline “Stop the Insanity.” The publication’s website also featured the editorial, written by The Post’s editorial board, at the top of the home page.

“Mr. President, it’s time to end this dark charade,” began the editorial.

It blasted Mr. Trump’s suggestion that the House and Senate try to disrupt the tallying of Electoral College votes on Jan. 6. It also ridiculed Sidney Powell, a former lawyer for the Trump campaign who pushed conspiracy theories about a Venezuelan plot to rig voting machines in the United States. And it said a suggestion by Michael T. Flynn, the former lieutenant general who served as Mr. Trump’s first national security adviser, to impose martial law was “tantamount to treason.”

“You have tweeted that, as long as Republicans have ‘courage,’ they can overturn the results and give you four more years in office,” the Post editorial said.

“In other words,” it continued, “you’re cheering for an undemocratic coup.”

DUDE! You been … #$%$^ dissed!! Let me summarize this exercise in logic: Murdoch owns Fox New. Murdoch owns The NY Post. Therefore, Fox News is no longer your (trump’s) friend either. I would say that is worth a headline. When all your (enablers) friends leave you, what do you do? It must be pretty bad to be a fading fat former president (say that tongue twister 3 times fast) about to be fitted for an orange jumpsuit all your own. “Lock him up” is closer than ever. Do you prefer upper or lower (bunk)?

All your empty suits: new clothes are coming

“After bringing some 60 lawsuits, and even offering financial incentive for information about fraud, Mr. Trump and his allies have failed to prove definitively any case of illegal voting on behalf of their opponent in court — not a single case of an undocumented immigrant casting a ballot, a citizen double voting, nor any credible evidence that legions of the voting dead gave Mr. Biden a victory that wasn’t his.”

I just keep thinking the emperor has no (clothes) suits. And, if it fits, wear it. But go, please go. New clothes: orange jumpsuit and your own number. You earned it. It awaits you.

Mink farmers drove their tractors into Copenhagen to demonstrate against the Danish government as coronavirus infections raged through mink herds.

Could we get rid of Covid by killing off millions of the world citizens? Did it work for mink? Imagine if trump were king instead of a deposed wannabe. Herd immunity was a good idea no worse than killing 17 million mink out of hand? It’s an amazing world out there. Sometimes you gotta wonder if Mother Earth would be better off without a few billion humans. Reset. Climate change….. Herd immunity has its supporters among whom are white supremacists, Fox news, Newsmax…. Hey! It’s a viewpoint. 17 million minks for coats is ok?! They pay for a lot of tractors, which…..

Tower of London

Imprisoned at the whim or will of the monarch, beheaded without trial, this fortress has a long sordid history. Sixty days to the election, I wonder how this post will look post election in December? Did we win or did the dark force prevail? I do hope our dear leader gets an orange jumpsuit. Maybe it’s time to bring back beheading?
