We were graced with a bonus day! Old age? Memory? Ha! … just miscount, nothing sinister. We had an extra day because we miscalculated our departure from our accommodation. Ok! … make lemonade.

I saw my first rapeseed field of the spring. We arrived to early to see their bloom from the plane. Rainbow on the hill? Subtle but present; I hope you see it too. North Sea oil? It’s cold now but millions of years ago… The lifesaving rescue squad was out… it was all old folk. ??? A practice? A class? An experience? And baby lambs – redundant term? Lambs are babies, right? Why the blue mark? And does it wash off or wear off? I hope the mark does not designate who is for lamb chops.
